Many years ago my cousins and I used to play Panzer Blitz and Panzer Leader (The Avalon Hill board games), and we used to set up multi-player games where the allies fought both the Germans and the Russians (who were fighting each other as well) and I loved to play the Russians, the T-34s were nimble and destructive, but I especially remember using a squad of four of these beasts and wiping out about 20+ Shermans and Fireflies before they finally destroying the four with heavy artillery (the allies were allowed spotter planes). We also created our own pieces we felt the game lacked, like for example the "Karl" mortar... :-)
